Sometimes being" lost" in your own life is not a bad thing.......it forces you to re-examine the overgrown, thorny depths, use your inner compass and follow the bread crumbs back to the person you know to be true. Many years ago I purposely derailed my life, left my comfort zone and began designing a "map" for a better me.......with the help of two brilliant friends, lots of tear filled nights and the hottest summer on record, I slowly made my way along that crumb filled trail back to a new and improved "home". Somewhere in this journey, my compass pointed North and I began walking hand in hand with the love of my life......a sweet and amazing gift of a man who fills up my heart each and every day.........even now we still ask "did I find you ? or did you find me?". ......we know it doesn't matter, we were just following the same bread crumbs.Sunday, January 3, 2010
